Introduction
This is the web location for a very small academic Radiology Department. This Department was developed as one of the last clinical departments for a community based Medical School originally funded by a grant from the Department of Veteran Affairs.
The Department was organized in 1979 and, since then, has developed a curriculum in Radiology which includes teaching medical imaging at the M1, M2, and M4 levels. The M4s currently on the Radiology rotation are listed on this site and some of the teaching material is also posted for the students' convenience. We have listed the teaching files which we maintain in the Radiology Department. If you would like to review those films or use the locally prepared teaching file for your presentation, stop by the Radiology Department or give us a telephone call (733-3295) or an email message and we will explain how those films can be obtained.
You might be interested in taking a look at the people who work in this Department and the things they do during a typical work day. Occasionally, we post an image of an interesting case and you can send us your diagnosis and other comments. Be sure to leave your E-mail address and we will let you know if your diagnosis is correct.
We welcome comments from you about how we can improve this site and/or the Radiology Department.
You might be interested in learning more about the individuals who work in the Department so we have a less formal website Radiolearn which provides more personal information.
